LoveReading4Kids Says
Melding mind-blowing facts with marvellous fiction, this fourth book in M.A. Bennett’s thrilling time-travelling Butterfly Club series sees Luna, Aidan and Konstatin compelled to answer a cry for help from the future. Driven by the quick-wittedness of its characters, this is ablaze with adventure and invention.
In their 1894 present-day, the self-professed “time thieves” of the Butterfly Club zoom forward to 1969 to prevent the Apollo 11 moon mission from ending in disaster. In this version of history, Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins never returned home from their journey to the moon.
At the same time, movie-maker and prospective Butterfly Club member Monsieur Georges Méliès requests to join the crew on their voyage to 1969 in order to acquire a camera with which he can make his trail-blazing film - Trip to the Moon.
Electric with energy, and the urgency of a race against time, The Trip to the Moon brings history to life in brilliant style.

About
The Trip to the Moon Synopsis
The adventures of the time-travelling Butterfly Club continue in this fourth book in the middle-grade series that cleverly weaves together fact and fiction...
Film is set to become the new craze. Butterfly Club member and filmmaker Georges Méliès pleads to be allowed to go forward in time to harvest a movie camera from the future to make his ambitious film, A Trip to the Moon.
The Butterfly Club call up Professor Lorenz's hologram from 1969. The professor reports that all of America is abuzz too, with the most ambitious scientific project in history – an actual trip to the moon. But the mission has stalled in the most terrible way – an accident on the launchpad resulted in the astronauts being trapped in a fatal fire.
For the first time ever it is the professor who asks the time thieves for help – he invites them to come to 1969 and stop the dreadful accident, and make sure the trip to the moon can go ahead.
