A calming picture book to help little ones settle at bedtime with the aid of simple mindfulness techniques.
Let go of the day as you float along the sleepy river with the stars shining overhead, saying goodnight to the animals who are mindfully getting ready for bed. This peaceful bedtime read takes the form of a relaxing journey, beginning up a mountain as the sun starts to set, travelling down a river, passing sleepy animals and gently floating into the moonlit ocean.
The soothing text brings the reader's attention back to their breath and their body, helping little ones to be in the present moment and settle down for a good night's sleep.
Includes introductory notes for caregivers by Dani Binnington, a wellbeing expert and yoga teacher.

The illustrations in this picture book are truly beautiful and they’re brought alongside these positive, uplifting messages for young readers. It surely is a heart-warming book as I myself can almost envision the atmosphere and imagery created by the author!! I wish books like this were available around my time as it uses a range of simple mindfulness techniques that are perfect for any bedtime story.... Read Full Review
This is a beautiful bedtime story for little ones. The illustrations are gorgeous and are all in calming colours perfect for a story before bed, rather than bright stimulating colours. I love the mindfulness element that is included which I have never seen before in a children’s picture book.

I love the mindfulness element that is included which I have never seen before in a children’s picture book. It teaches mindfulness techniques in a way that is accessible and engaging for young children. I personally think this is really important and will promote good wellbeing among children. It’s a great introduction which could then be followed on by other practices.
The repetitive structure of each page is perfect for young readers as it goes through saying goodnight to each animal and promotes mindfulness breathing techniques.... Read Full Review
