"The quantum-powered conclusion to a superb graphic novel adventure series."
February 2025 Book of the Month
It’s the moment all Mega Robo Bros fans have been waiting for (and dreading): the conclusion to their adventures. The good news is it delivers – boy, does it deliver!
As we’ve come to expect, as Alex and Freddy come face to face with their nemesis – not Robot 23, but someone even more heartless, ruthless and shockingly close to the brothers – there are moments of high tension, fights (don’t miss a super satisfying KRANNGGG!! moment with the brothers’ mum), comedy, including fantastic one-liners, and moments that are tender, even heart-breaking.
The brothers might be robots, but this series shows you more about what it means to be human, and what humanity at its best is capable of, than pretty much anything else you’ll read. There’s a wonderful surprise at the conclusion, which had me crying and laughing. Pore over the artwork and revel in the storytelling, both are superb.

Smashingly brilliant!
I thought the whole book was magical! I loved the part where Alex and Freddy brought their friends to help fight robot 23. There were so many robots there coming to save the world! The picture was really bright and colourful with them all there. It was so funny when they were all shouting poop and butts and the song poopy, poopy butts, butts, butts when Alex got the robots to say all the rude words. The last page was really cool with all the robots and new robo bus flying through the air.
I did find it a little bit sad when they lost their super powers and they were all black.... Read Full Review
