Two little lab-coated mice set out to find out the best way to tickle (sending their mice assistants in to do the actual tickling). Their subjects include a giraffe, bear, a tiger (tricky – start behind the knees), a gorilla, an octopus and even a crocodile. With the exception of a rhino, everyone loves to be tickled, so where, the last page asks, should we tickle you! The storyline is lots of fun and this is a picture book that demands mass tickling interaction. Adrian Reynolds is an expert at illustrating animals and they wriggle and squirm and laugh in a series of delightful images.
Could you pass the test to join the Tickle Squad? One brave mouse is willing to give it a go! It's easy to tickle a giraffe and fun to tickle a bear. An octopus is trickier (underwater with all those arms) but tickling a crocodile is the hardest one - with all those sharp teeth! This is a ticklish tale that children will love.
'Gloriously visual and witty illustrations accompany a simple rhyming story overflowing with scatological humour. This will appeal enormously to young children, and to quite a few of their parents as well.' - BookTrust
