This page-turning, roller-coaster story is vividly told by seventeen year old Vanessa, the timid younger sister who has always replied on her older sister Justine for protection. From the first day of their regular summer visit to their beach home, things are strange for Justine and Vanessa. They meet the dreamy brothers Caleb and Simon as usual but after that, nothing is the same again. When Justine dies in a freak accident, Vanessa has to be brave on her own.
