In Suti and the Queen of the Lake, we meet Suti, a poor man who wants only to be rich. His golden opportunity arrives one day when he is fishing and, to his astonishment, a cheerful golden fish, covered with colorful jewels, emerges from the sparkling water and introduces herself as the Queen of the Lake. The golden fish feels sorry for poor Suti and gives him all her jewels-but she soon finds that without her jewels, she has lost her friends and her royal title. Lonely and sad, the golden fish must find a way to reclaim her jewels-and her rightful place as Queen of the Lake. Beautifully illustrated, this delightful story will entertain children of all ages.
