Fiona Woodcock’s playful and stylish new picture book stars four utterly charming little characters, Poppy, Dandy and Bluebell, and Buttercup. Together they run wild, spreading sunshine wherever they go. When they learn that the last park in the city is going to be closed, they head off to save it. As readers, we chase after them as they dash from one page to the next, spreading a trail of colour behind them that brightens up the grey city streets. The story is full of joy and optimism, as the little flowers fill the park with new blooms, and will leave readers of all ages smiling. ~ Andrea Reece
