Damian Harvey lives in North Wales with his lovely wife, Vicky. He has three wonderful daughters, one brilliant son and a fat, lazy cat called Polly. Before becoming a writer he worked as a painter and decorator, a lifeguard, a swimming teacher, and as an assistant in a record shop. He's now written around 70 books for children and is busy writing more. Although Damian enjoys sitting at home writing stories, he also spends a lot of time visiting schools, libraries and festivals to give lively, interactive performance sessions that are designed to enthuse and excite children about books, reading, and writing stories of their own.
