Littlenose is a cave boy who, together with his pet mammoth Two-Eyes, is always up to some kind of mischief. This time they find all kinds of special tricks to liven up Crocus Day, a Neanderthal version of April Fool’s Day.
Watch out...it's Crocus Day (the Neanderthal version of April Fools'). Littlenose has plenty of tricks up his sleeve, but will his tribe tolerate his mischievous antics for long? This collection comprises five new Littlenose stories, featuring - amidst the usual chaos - a wild forest bull on the rampage, an invasion of mammoths and a new pet for Littlenose - Squeaky the mouse. Things are never calm for long in this naughty caveboy's world...
John Grant originally invented Littlenose to entertain his children, but it went on to become a global success. He wrote and illustrated over 13 Littlenose books between 1968 and 1993 (published by Hodder and BBC books).
