Here at Lovereading4kids we tend to focus most of our attentions on one
off titles rather than series. However, when we saw Glitterwings we
felt the narrative was so accomplished, stylish and exciting that we
shouldn’t ignore it. It’s a series that bridges a gap for the 7 to 9
year old readers who enjoy the experience of series rather than one-off
books. However, the writing itself is more challenging than most
series aimed at this age. However, at that age most girls still
absolutely love all things pink, glittery and if it involves fairies
then even better. Glitterwings Academy is just that. Readers will
follow the delightful and at times naughty fairy, Twink, and her
friends as they progress up through Glitterwings Academy, the boarding
school of boarding schools for fairies. But beware parents, children
who read Glitterwings will soon be asking to go off to boarding school
