Traditional in feel but bright to look at and contemporary in its approach, this highly enjoyable picture book will bear repeated reading. Something is causing trouble in the jungle, biting first Frog, then Monkey, then Zebra on the bottom. As their panic grows – “Guard your bottoms and run, run, run!” shouts Zebra - they go to King Lion for help. He soon discovers who is behind it all, though only after a sharp nip to his own bottom. The animals’ Chicken Licken-like panic is completely out of proportion to the threat and will have children in stitches, especially when the biter is revealed to be a very cute bush baby. ~ Andrea Reece
