Here is the essential fast-food bible for teenagers. I know a number of late teens and teenagers with a passion for cooking – it seems to be the ‘cool’ thing to be doing. So we felt it was time to check out Sam Stern who has become something of a celebrity for his passion for cooking and ensure that a wider audience is introduced to him. Get Cooking came about from conversations with mates on what they like to eat – chocolate, pasta, and tomatoes to name just three. There’s something here to suit every palette.
After his first two cookbooks, Sam Stern wanted a new challenge. And since there's nobody harder to please than your mates, he asked seven of his friends to choose their favourite ingredients so he could make dishes using the food they liked most. The book contains eight sections, with recipes of meals and snacks.
'There is something magnetic about Sam's book and, as a utensil for teenagers, it's perfect.' The Observer
'A teenager with a passion for cooking' Get Cooking
'A fast-food bible for teenagers... He has turned thousands of his teenage peers into masterchefs.' The Independent
