Woolfrik and Perigold, aka the Kitty Quest warriors of Kitquaroo, are back and ready for new adventures. After a run in with a two-headed armour-wearing creature in the woods, which they manage to defeat with the help of the feisty mushrooms they’ve been gathering, the two return to Meowminster where they find the citizens in a panic – there are bug-eyed, writhing, tentacled, ferocious beasts lurking outside the city.
Can the two survive Trial by Tentacle and save their neighbours?
Phil Corbett’s pussycat heroes and their epic adventures make for great reading. These comic style stories offer snappy, swashbuckling, slapstick fun from cover to cover and youngsters, particularly fans of Dog Man and Bunny vs Monkey will lap them up.

Chosen by Rob Biddulph, Guest Editor September 2022 as one of his top recommendations - The first Kitty Quest graphic novel had me rolling in the aisles, and the second is equally mirth-inducing. I love Phil’s brilliantly characterful illustrations and in Wolfrick and Perigold he has given us two heroes that really inspire. The myriad of menacing mushrooms and salty sea monsters that they come up against don't stand a chance!

About
Kitty Quest: Trial by Tentacle Synopsis
Dog Man meets the Lord of the Rings in this epic laugh-out-loud graphic novel series about two aspiring monster slayers. In their second adventure, our heroes face a new threat to Meowminster - an army of ferocious sea monsters! This is the perfect new read for fans of Captain Underpants, Dog Man and The Simpsons!
The islands of Pawdor are in peril once again! Ferocious sea monsters have been spotted on shore, and the townsfolk are in a complete panic. Luckily, Kitty Quest are ready to protect the land. So what if Woolfrik and Perigold are the only guild members (besides their mentor who's a ghost), and it's just their second week on the job? How are these two amateur heroes supposed to stop a whole army of tentacled beasts?
It may just take some quick thinking, a whole lot of luck, and a little help from the most unexpected of places. In order to save all of kitty-kind, Woolfrik and Perigold are going to have to learn to work together and prove that two heads are better than one.
