The primary colours have got everything sorted out in the city so they live in separate areas and never mix. But, when a Blue and a Yellow fall in love and marry, baby Green is soon born and everyone realises that mixing together makes everyone much happier. A love story in a paint box with an important message for all young readers.
The Blues, Reds and Yellows lived in harmony. Reds were the loudest, Yellows the brightest and Blues were the coolest. However when one of the colours proclaims they are the best, discord breaks out and eventually the colours decide to live in different parts of the city. Then one day a Yellow befriends a Blue and they become inseparable, discovering a world of different possibilities and colours.
Arree Chung is a Chinese-American author and illustrator who grew up in Northern California. Chung discovered his love for creating children's picture books, when in 2003 he took a leap from his career at Pixar to study illustration at the Art Centre College of Design in California and he hasn't looked back since. He is the author of the children's book Mixed: A Colourful Story. Arree lives in San Francisco.
