First, in "Scarlet in Gaslight", the GreatDetective comes face to face with the master vampire Count Dracula. A beautfilyoung woman is afflicted with a strange anemia, losing her blood for no apparentreason. Called in to investigate, Holmes and Watson meet the eccentric Dr. VanHelsing, a noted scientist with an obsession for the occult. Together the threemen uncover the most insidious plot ever master-minded by Holmes' nemesis, theinfamous Professor Moriarty.
