Daniela Sacerdoti Press Reviews
'Delightfully old fashioned, but at the same time utterly contemporary. Warm, witty and more than a little scary. Like Enid Blyton with the Internet!' Jonathan Meres, author of The World of Norm
'This book is so enjoyable, with a wonderfully quirky family and great characters. I loved the paranormal database at the beginning of each chapter, and it gets into the story right from the first chapter. I can't see how this book won't be a great success.'
Catherine MacPhail, author of Nemesis
'Swings effortlessly between scary and funny, like Dracula doing stand-up. Really Weird, yes, but also Really Good.' Barry Hutchinson, author of The 13th Horseman
'This is a great family read, both for the grown ups who want to be transported back to their childhood, or for the child having it read aloud on a dark winter's evening. It could even work as a book to share with a class ... The story is told amazing well -- it will have your imagination stretched to the very fullest ... The story is both funny and poignant. It is brimming with the full flavour of a Scottish adventure. Family life and folklore all collide into one memorable story. I'm pleased to say that I enjoyed both aspects very much. The fast paced story and character driven plot will have you wanting much much more.' Mr Ripley's Enchanted Books
'I recommend Really Weird Removals.com to middle grade readers that crave adventure, and enjoy supernatural and fantasy based tales. Readers that have enjoyed books like the Sisters Grimm series will particularly connect with the story. It is funny, with moments that are very suspenseful.' Sharon the Librarian blog
'Daniela is a very descriptive writer and has a wonderful knack of bringing every setting alive ... Luca and Valentina are brilliant characters; Valentina, a feisty younger sister with an unusual interest in dead sea creatures and Luca, the older brother, who is quieter and more thoughtful than his sister. These two lead a cast of quirky and original characters that will stay with me longer after finishing the book, all unusual but extremely believable ... I really enjoyed reading this book, it was a delightful read for the child hidden within. If you haven't read a book by Daniela Sacerdoti, then you are sadly missing out. -- Serendipity Reviews 'I think this book is amazing. It's sense of action and fantasy has truth at its middle, echoing our own feelings and lives too, making it a better book all together. I think that its range of different points throughout the plot makes it appealing to all ages, big or small ... This story is suitable for any age, as long as you like action, adventure and quite a lot of fun!' The Guardian Children's Books
'Would recommend it. my 10-year old found this a great read and interesting... in his words, the weirdness is awesome.' myrandrspace blog
