Children benefit immensely from spending time outdoors in the fresh air, and a great way to get them outside is to encourage an interest in their garden. This book presents fun and practical activities to do in the garden every month of the year, come rain or shine. It's the perfect interactive guide for young gardeners from 6+ to share with parents and to enjoy alone too.
This accesible book is packed with basic gardening information, and the accompanying worksheets on CD present fun, practical activities to do each month of the year. From planting seeds, to spotting birds and creepy crawlies, keeping a garden diary and growing potatoes in buckets there is something for everyone. So you don't even need a garden to enjoy this book. A bucket or two will do instead.
