A day of household chores turns into something much more exciting in this clever wordless picturebook. The first scenes show a dad and his son making pancakes – yum - and chatting non-stop over breakfast, but the mood changes when they see the long ‘Things to Do’ list on the fridge. Washing the dishes is quite fun, build the bookcase less so, and hoover the carpets is a real bore. That’s when the boy has a bright idea, changing the list to read ‘Things to do with Dad’. Making the beds is much more interesting when it’s done pirate style and the fun builds from there as ‘water the garden’ becomes explore the jungle!
