More great reads: the best books for 4 year olds
A super-clever, 'magic ribbon' book that will leave your kids amazed! A snake gets bigger and its spots change colour at every turn of the page! It features the simple adventures of one intrepid little snake. As he wanders through a variety of bright, textured landscapes, growing longer and longer on each page, the snake's spots seem to magically change colour every time the page is turned.
The snake itself is printed on a yellow ribbon which moves through the book and gets longer as you turn the pages. Children will learn all about colours while they - and the adults reading with them - will scratch their heads trying to figure out how it's done. An ingenious novelty element to a book that needs to be seen to be believed with a great surprise ending!
When Yellow Snake was born he had bright red dots. But then he grew. His new spots were blue!
