Young Reading: Series Three. Tells the story of the Samurai and how they shaped Japan’s history and culture with their training methods, battles and belief in death before dishonour. Titles in this 7th and final Level in the Usborne Reading Programme are for fully confident readers who still need to gain the stamina needed for standard length books. At 64 pages in length and up to 5000 words they use advanced sentence structure and vocabulary, and have more complex plots with subplots.
