About
Dozy Bear and the Secret of Sleep Synopsis
A calming story that uses tried-and-tested relaxation techniques to help both adult and child unwind at bedtime. Dozy Bear and the Secret of Sleep fills the gap in the market for a relaxing bedtime book that act as a sleep aid rather than bedtime entertainment. It combines proven sleep and relaxation techniques with Richard Smythe's gorgeous, dreamlike illustrations, and is perfect for any parent who wants to turn naptime or bedtime into a calming experience.
Now are you all snuggled up and ready for bed? I'm going to tell you a story about the secret of sleep, and a little bear called Dozy who wanted to sleep, but didn't know how. With his family close by in the den, Dozy would think about all the other animals of the world who would be tucked up, curled up, cuddled up or cosied up sleeping. And yet still, he would struggle to go to sleep himself but Papa Bear had a clever trick up his sleeve which he knew guaranteed to get Dozy off to sleep...

The first book I've read that teaches children how to fall asleep. This book is the way forward. The Three Day Nanny, Kathryn Mewes as seen on C4
This book is a genuine lifesaver. On those nights when you think nothing will work it has sent my toddler fast asleep Jenny Hutton, mother of Woody aged 20 months
I love this book almost as much as my toddler does! Maybe more. Beautiful rhythmic language patterns...A must-have for all parents and their young children at bedtime Deborah Henley, Clinical Hypnotherapist and Mind Coach
