Nick Sharratt lives in Brighton with his partner, and works in a studio overlooking the sea. He took an Arts Foundation course at Manchester Polytechnic and a BA in Graphic Design at St Martin's. Nick is well-known for his illustration of the books of Jacqueline Wilson and Jeremy Strong and for his own titles. He has won many awards, including the Children's Book Award in 2001 for Eat Your Peas, and has more than 100 books to his name.
Stephen Tucker has teamed up with Nick Sharratt to create the very successful Lift-the-Flap Fairy Tale series for Macmillan. Their witty retellings in modern-day rhyme are the perfect introduction to fairy tales. Stephen lives in Brighton, where he works as a teacher.
