Yet again Jacqueline Wilson captures the childhood issues of growing up, both emotional and physical. Her characters and the friendships between each of them are brilliantly drawn and every child reading Girls in Tears will find a character they empathise with. Highly enjoyable. A marvellous read.
"Maybe that's why the tears are pouring down my face."
The girls are BACK. But, things aren't easy for Ellie, Magda and Nadine.
Ellie's glorious romance with Russell is teetering on the rocks. Magda's lost her pet and is desperately upset (though the others didn't even know she had a hamster!). And Nadine is fed up with the other two lecturing her about the dangers of meeting someone from the internet IRL - she thinks the guy she's chatting to online is wonderful . . .
Join the GIRLS as they learn more about themselves (and each other) in their final instalment of the bestselling series. Perfect for readers 12+
Ellie, Magda and Nadine's journeys continue in the series: 1. Girls In Love 2. Girls Under Pressure 3. Girls Out Late 4. Girls In Tears
