Shades and signs of autumn fill this heartwarming picture book. Poya is enchanted by the seasonal changes as the autumn skies, with their pinkish hues, are flecked by migrating geese and golden leaves blown from the trees. This is perfect kite flying weather! 

Opi digs out the kite that he made with his grandpa many years ago, and wrapped up with a wooly hat and scarf Poya and Opi head out to play. The skies are big and blue, but the winds are strong, and snatch the old kite from Poya's grasp. 

In a lovely symmetry, Poya and Opi make a new kite, but what colour will it be? This is a gorgeous celebration of nature's colours, the fascination of the changing skies, and the loving relationship between a grandson and grandpa.
