LoveReading4Kids Says
Snow lives high on the top of a mountain, but longs to join the clouds she watches as they glide past, floating freely through the air. Then one day, something extraordinary happens. As the clouds part, the sun shines down and Snow finds herself melting. Soon she is whizzing down the mountainside on a journey that will take her to the sea and beyond.
Snow’s dramatic journey down the mountain, along rivers, though smoky, dirty cities, will capture children’s imaginations while this lyrical story is also a fascinating introduction to the water cycle. Oliver Averill’s textured, atmospheric illustrations catch the excitement and movement of Robert Tregoning’s verse text.

About
Flow With the Snow Synopsis
High on the mountaintop, Snow is watching the clouds dance by. And then, something extraordinary happens-Snow begins to melt. She flows down the mountain, into the river, through the city, and out into the ocean. During her journey, Snow changes. She becomes fluid and can drift with the river currents and dances with the tides. But there's one more change in store-maybe she will be able to dance and twirl with the clouds through the beautiful open sky.
A lyrical, wintery story that is also an imaginative way for children to learn about the water cycle.
Robert Tregoning’s wonderful verse and personification of water make this text perfect to read aloud. Stunning illustrations from exciting new talent Oliver Averill capture the movements and colours of water, clouds, and sky with refreshing originality.
