LoveReading4Kids Says
Rudy the young werewolf and his friends, Femi the mummy and Edie the ghost, are picking up lots of fans and are back here for a new adventure.
Rudy can’t wait for the long-planned sleepover at Femi’s house, but when the day comes, it suddenly feels a bit daunting. Wolfie, his wolf cub has to stay behind, and Femi’s family like different food. Then, to cap it all, he turns out to be not very good at playing Femi’s new game Rock Fortress either.
But when Femi does some sleepwalking in the night, and then some sleep-skateboarding, it’s Rudy and Edie to the rescue, at which point Rudy realises that their friendship is deeper than any little differences.
With their short chapters, bright illustrations and snappy, appealing stories, this series is great for readers ready to start reading on their own and our supernatural little heroes have lots in common with their readers.

About
Rudy and the Secret Sleepskater Synopsis
With boundless energy and an impulsive nature, Rudy is always ready to follow the scent of adventure! And with his loyal pack of friends by his side there's nothing he can't achieve.
When Rudy and Edie go to Femi's house for a sleepover, they discover that their friend has been keeping a secret: Femi sleepwalks. They're under strict instructions that if he sleepwalks while they're there they must not, under any circumstances, wake him up, but should just gently guide him back to bed. Which sounds fine, but when Rudy accidentally leaves the bedroom window open and Femi gets outside and starts zooming down the street on his skateboard, all the time being fast asleep, gently guiding him back to bed starts to feel a little more complicated. Can they catch up with the snoring skateboarding mummy before he wakes up?
Howlingly cool illustrations and an irresistible character finding his way in the world make Rudy and the Secret Sleepskater the ideal choice for those looking to bridge the gap between picture books and independent reading.
