In this episode a new boy joins the friends’ school (yes, downside to being a werewolf, you still have to do maths). Frankie is huge and more than a little clumsy, which makes him a target for the class mean kids. Rudy loses his temper too when Frankie accidentally breaks his skateboard. But by thinking about how he’d feel in the same situation, Rudy realises that he owes Frankie an apology.

All ends well with the four youngsters happily watching lightening together from the highest tower in Frankie’s castle home, and Rudy even finds the perfect position for Frankie in their football team – goalkeeper! With short chapters, lots of bright illustrations and a snappy text, this is great for readers ready to tackle longer stories and lots of fun.
