A charming comedy about orphan Piccolo Grande and how he copes with the strange and rather crazy guardian angel who comes to take charge of him. With her wild red hair and unpredictable behaviour – including getting stuck in a tree when she tries out her flying and needing rescuing from the police station when she fails to pay for her shopping - Annabelle is something of a liability. But it’s certainly a lot more fun than living alone. Knockabout humour with lots of action told in short chapters. (8+)
