Fugitive Synopsis

Jack's father died when Jack was three and he has lived happily with his mother, the tough and funny Big Rose, despite being teased at school for being a mummy's boy. Then Big Rose starts lying, visiting the police station and making odd phone callsand Jack decides to investigate. He finds a strange man in the cellar, the escaped robber who's been on the TV news, and is shattered when Big Rose tells him the man is his father. Jack wonders about an attack on an elderly woman but his father claims to be innocent. Watching a TV reconstruction, Jack realises he's seen the real attacker and the knowledge puts him in danger. His father saves him and is proved innocent and the future for the family looks good.
