LoveReading4Kids Says
December 2023 Book of the Month
Dennis the Menace takes a bit of a back seat in this new boomic (book + comic – geddit?), which stars fellow Bash Street kid, his cousin Minnie. When a new boy, Whelan starts at their school, Minnie isn’t pleased – he’s star player for the Legwee Academy Dribblers, who nearly knocked the Bash Street Dribblers out of the Super Epic Turbo Cricket cup (rule one: break as many rules as possible). But maybe the two have more in common than she thinks?
Channelling all the mischief and mayhem of the Beano, this is jam-packed with jokes, cartoons and, well, beans, all sure to delight fans of the comic. As an added treat, there are comic-style instructions at the very back to encourage readers to produce their own boomic. Great fun for all.
