LoveReading4Kids Says
It is impossible not to be entertained by the diaries of the teenage Georgia Nicolson. Since she started to reveal the secrets of her life in Angus, thongs and full frontal Snogging (a title more shocking than it’s content) she has been regaling readers with her friendships, her hatred of school and, of course, the triumphs and (mostly) disasters of her love life. Now, with her familiar vocabulary firmly in place, she’s back getting saucier by the minute – and falling in love again, of course.

"I'm not hairy."
"Have it your own way, just don't go near any circuses."
"Shut up. Go on then, tell me your plan."
"OK, this is it: when I go to Hamburger-a-gogo land… you come with me! Do you see? We will be like Thelma and Louise!"
"We're not called Thelma and Louise."
"I know that, I'm just saying we will be LIKE THEM!"
"And we're not American. And neither of us can drive."
"Oh dear God. Jas, your spaceship has arrived. Please get in."
Laugh your knickers off at Georgia's tales from her trip to Hamburger-a-gogo land (the US) and her attempts to entice Masimo, the Italian stallion. Can Georgia become the composed sex-kitten she aspires to be…?

About Louise Rennison
Louise Rennison (1951 – 2016) A hugely popular writer and comedian, who wrote brilliantly funny stories for teenage girls including the Confessions of Georgia Nicolson series, the first of which was made into a successful movie.
When Louise was 15, her parents decided to emigrate to Wairakei in New Zealand. Its main claim to fame is that it had some of the most violent geothermal activity in the world. "When we had Sunday lunch in the back garden, the tables heaved and lurched around, and the trees went backwards and forwards. That was because underneath the table, underneath the earth's surface, thousands of cubic feet of molten steam was trying to get out … and kill us!" Louise's dad had his shoes blown off by a rogue bore.
Louise's research for her books required many hours hanging around with 14-year-olds which is, as she said, "Brilliant - the best fun known to humanity. It's all boys, make-up, laughing and, er, that's it.”
