House of Horrors lifts the roof on the disgusting details of domestic
life as only Horrible Science. Who lives in a house like this?
Just about everyone. This book will have the cleanest of neat
freaks running for cover when they discover what they'll never be
able to get out of the carpet. House of Horrors dishes the dirt
on the secret life of dust mites and parasitic pet poo.

Horrible Science author, Nick Arnold, has been writing books and stories since he was a lad. Even in those days his favourite subjects for stories were horrible goings-on, the more gruesome the better! So you see, he hasn't changed a bit!
Nick's first published books appeared when he was working at the University of North London on a project teaching children about nature. This led to a magazine article and then, one day, Nick had a brilliant idea. He said to himself:
"If I can write newspaper articles, then I can write books for other publishers too!"
