LoveReading4Kids Says
Former Children’s Laureate Julia Donaldson’s story is a touching adventure told in easy to read chapters. Elmo and his sister want to move to the run down house with the overgrown garden. Instead, their parents choose to buy the house next door. Luckily, Elmo and his sister can still play in the jungle as the house remains empty. But, when new owner arrives, it looks as if their fun will be over... It's beautifully packaged and illustrated by the wonderful Hannah Shaw.

About Julia Donaldson, Catriona Black
Julia Donaldson is the prize-winning author of the world's most-loved picture books including What the Ladybird Heard and The Gruffalo, the latter of which has sold over 14 million copies worldwide, been translated into 50 languages and been adapted into a popular animated film. She was the UK Children's Laureate from 2011-2013 and was awarded an MBE in 2011 for services to Literature.
Catrìona Black loves to tell stories. Her career has covered many bases, but communication has always been at the heart of everything she does. From journalism, politics and PR to printmaking; from broadcast animation to published picture books and copyediting, it’s all about making people look and listen, and love what they hear.
She was born in Scotland, brought up speaking English and Gaelic, and dragged away from her home country kicking and screaming in 2011, when her husband got a job in Amsterdam. Turns out she likes it there and is now reluctant to leave. They have two children who are, naturally, the best human beings in the whole wide world.
