About This Edition
About Caroline Stills, Sarcia Stills-Blott
Caroline Stills began writing for children almost accidentally. It wasn’t until she became a mother that she began formulating ideas for picture books.
Her first picture book to be published in Australia was Magic Mummy, a finalist in the Inaugural Kathleen Julia Bates Writing Competition for a picture book, followed by an A-Z of Fairies and an A-Z of Pirates.
Her eldest daughter, Sarcia (pictured), has always been very creative – and loves to draw, write stories and dance. She often gets onto the computer and types away at a story idea. It was Sarcia who wrote the first draft of what was to become The House of 12 Bunnies when she was eight.

When she's not writing stories, Sarcia loves drawing, dancing, acting and hanging out with her family and friends. Her favourite colour is aqua and her favourite food is chocolate-chip cookies. When she grows up she wants to be a full-time animator and a part-time writer/artist, who dances in her spare time.
