In 2001 Sleepyhead, one of Nicola's books included in the launch of Macmillan’s Baby Campbell list, was short-listed for The Sainsbury’s Baby Books Award. Nicola has illustrated for children’s TV programmes as well as having many of her own books animated. She has contributed to various magazines and designed book jackets and greetings cards.
