Simon Philip takes another wry look at family life and the behaviours and feelings of young children in this hilarious picture book, Let Me Do It!
Teddy is definitely not a baby anymore, in fact he's basically a grown up and can't understand why his family fuss over him so much. He is perfectly capable of getting himself dressed and preparing his own breakfast but things quickly get out of hand when he has a go at some interior decorating and dog grooming!
A lively and entertaining story that is perfect to read aloud. The joyful illustrations from Ella Okstad add to the frivolity.
Teddy is NOT a baby anymore. So why won't his family stop fussing over him? One day he decides that enough is enough and takes matters into his own hands. Soon Teddy is brushing his own hair, buttoning his own coat, and even making his own breakfast. As Teddy's confidence grows, he becomes ever more ambitious. What could possibly go wrong?
Narrated in the first person in Simon Philip's uniquely appealing picture book voice and with hilarious illustrations by Ella Okstad, this is a funny and mischievous story that will resonate with both children and their parents.
