Sequel to The Unmorrow Curse, Jasmine Richards’ The Myth Keeper serves fantasy fans a delicious banquet of bold action and deep friendship bonds.
Fresh from a quest to save the Runes of Valhalla, Buzz is back in quiet Crowmarsh: “All those terrifying, breath-taking, amazing experiences were behind him now. No gods, no mythical beasts, no adventure. Just a talking squirrel who he saw once in a while and a very normal, boring life.” But it’s not long before this very normal existence comes undone. First up, there’s the pact Buzz’s mum made with a rainforest spirt, a man who’s now come to collect his payment. Then there’s the fact his best friend Sam has a newfound power that’s made him crucial to the gods who, as Mari observes, are “setting up camp in Crowmarsh”.
When Sam is kidnapped, Buzz and Mari set about finding the Keeper of the Myths to save Sam, and save the day. As the daring duo unleash their own powers, and grapple with knowing who to trust, the mystery and adventure unfolds at rapid pace. Vibrantly visual, The Myth Keeper strikes a great balance between the realm of myth-laden high fantasy and relatable real-world emotions around trust, friendship and courage.

About
The Myth Keeper The Unmorrow Curse #2 Synopsis
Magic and myth collide in this fast-paced middle-grade fantasy, a sequel to The Unmorrow Curse.
Ever since Buzz and his friend Mari returned from their quest to save the Runes of Valhalla, Buzz has been wishing something more exciting would happen in his sleepy town of Crowmarsh. Buzz's wish is about to come true. Strange people are arriving in Crowmarsh, and it turns out that these visitors aren't people at all-they're mythological gods! They've come to kidnap Buzz's best friend, Sam, whose newfound power makes him the key to granting the wishes of the gods.
When the gods kidnap Sam, Buzz and Mari must set off on a dangerous adventure to find a mysterious being known as the Keeper of the Myths. Only the Keeper is strong enough to help them save Sam, unlock their own powers, and banish the gods back to their realms-before it's too late.
