We then move on to the place of money in the modern world; with explanations of the difference between credit and debit, how interest rates work and why taxation is an important contribution to a fair society. Finally, the important topic of personal finance, in particular budgeting. Interesting challenges are included throughout, these encourage young reader to put the financial theory into practice.

This fairly short non-fiction book touches on a lot of subjects, offering enough information and consideration to introduce each concept, without it ever feeling overwhelming.
