Meet the Weather is a book full of lively, mainly brightly colourful illustrations, looking at all the types of weather we can experience. The colours are muted for the fog and the storm, but the rest have a brightness and energy that follows the swirls and patterns of wind or rain, storm or calm, sunshine and rainbows.
Told in a delightful rhyming text that pulls you on to experience every sort of weather this is an exciting journey in a hot air balloon to see all these different phenomena. The illustrations on every double page show one type of weather – and there are lots of details to pick out and enjoy whilst reading.
A lovely introduction to meteorology for any young enthusiasts combining elements of STEM in the rhymes.
