Radiya Hafiza Press Reviews
Every bit as wonderful as Rumaysa A Fairytale. Brimming with excitement, adventure, humour, and heart, and with a Happily Ever After that brought a tear to my eye! -- Sophie Anderson, author of The House with Chicken Legs
Hugely entertaining . . . a wonderful adventure to add to your child's book shelves, giving a glimpse into another culture and a reminder to young readers that heroines come from all kinds of backgrounds and communities - Reading Zone
I loved the three heroines of this wonderful tale, loved how their stories intersected each other and that they were their own rescuers and path-finders. Three classic fairytales, beautifully woven together, sparkling with magic and humour. -- Nizrana Farook, author of The Girl Who Stole an Elephant on Rumaysa
All the fairytales in this exciting collection are vivid, magical and wonderful - each one spinning the genre on its head and bringing the stories right up to date with their diverse heroines taking centre stage. I just adored it! -- Jasbinder Bilan, author of Asha and the Spirit Bird on Rumaysa

About Radiya Hafiza
Radiya Hafiza studied English Language and Literature at King's College London and worked in publishing for a few years. Radiya grew up reading classic fairy tales that never had any brown girls in them - Rumaysa, her debut novel, brought such stories to children who need to see themselves represented, and was selected as a Waterstones Children's Book of the Month in 2021. Rhaida El Touny is a self-taught illustrator and digital content creator based in The Netherlands. Her work is characterised by bright, pastel colours and much of her art explores important topics around diversity, racism and Islamic culture.
