Zaiba and her friends in the Snow Leopard Detective Agency have the kind of attitude to crime that would get a thumbs up from the Famous Five. And like George, Julian and co., they find regular opportunities for detective work. They’re excited to be on a special history trip to Chesil Bay, where divers are about to reveal a priceless artefact discovered on a smugglers’ shipwreck. When it goes missing, Zaiba and the team already have a list of suspects – now they just need to work out who’s the real culprit. Our junior detectives are lively, fun and very good company, and this is a wonderfully satisfying mix of history and mystery. Black and white illustrations by Daniela Sosa are an added treat.
