Sharing books with your baby is one of the most joyful bits of early parenthood, especially when the books are as beautiful and as full of love and laughter as this classic by Helen Oxenbury. Even very little babies will be fascinated by the illustrations, and they’ll be captivated by the events described too. There may be only four spreads, but the action still builds cleverly to a wonderful climax, sure to have babies giggling aloud or joining in. Gorgeous in every way, this is a perfect first book.
