Farmyard fun, vehicles, animal noises to make, a jolly rhyming text and a lovely message about the importance of being kind to others, this picture book has it all. Little Blue Truck is rattling down the road sharing a cheery ‘Beep’ with everyone he passes. Dumper Truck has no time for niceties but when he ends up stuck in the mud only Blue will come to his aid. How different when Blue gets stuck too – everyone turns out double-quick for him. It takes all the animals to push the two trucks free, Toad’s muscles at the end of the line making all the difference. Classic in feel and look, this is lovely to read aloud and will prove a real favourite with children and parents. ~ Andrea Reece
A Piece of Passion from the Editor: “This baa-along, beep-along story is the perfect book to share with toddlers – the rhyming text romps along wonderfully and is full of moments where little ones can join in. Blue himself reminds me a bit of my childhood love of Brum – like Brum, Blue's a vehicle of few words (just ‘Beep’) but he has a big heart and is always ready to help out. This little blue truck is sure to feel like an old friend in no time at all…”
Meet Blue, the friendliest little pick-up truck on the road. Blue is happily driving along when he's overtaken by a big important dumper truck - but the dumper's speedy ways means he skids off the road and gets stuck in the mud! Blue tries his best to help, but soon he gets stuck too! What a mess! Luckily, Blue has picked up lots of farmyard friends on his drive, and they all muck in to get their friend back on the road.
With lots of vehicle noises and animal sounds, this rollicking rhyming text is all about helping others and mucking in together!
