Children's charity Coram has teamed up with bestselling and award-winning author and illustrator Rob Biddulph to launch a ‘Reveal Your Character’ competition for children, celebrating the charity’s new partnership with ITV’s The Masked Singer. Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan, panellists from the popular Saturday night TV show, will be joining as competition judges.

The competition, which opens today, invites children to submit a description of what their own character would look like on The Masked Singer, and how it represents their personality or interests. Three winners will be selected by the judges – including Davina and Mo - to have their characters brought to life in illustration by Rob Biddulph and receive a signed print of their character.

Rob Biddulph is the illustrator behind #DrawWithRob, a hugely popular series of draw-along videos which started during the pandemic and have now been viewed millions of times by families across the globe, and have since led to a series of bestselling #DrawWithRob activity books.

Rob Biddulph said: “The Masked Singer is one of the most exciting shows on TV, but there is nothing more exciting than a child's imagination. That's why I'm thrilled to be involved with a project like this that can help fire it. The fact that I'll be working alongside my incredible friends at Coram only adds to the thrill. I can't wait to see what wild and wonderful creations the entrants come up with.”

The ‘Reveal Your Character’ competition, which is open for entries until 7th February 2024, is celebrating Coram’s partnership with The Masked Singer, which sees celebrities singing while disguised in costume, inviting the nation to guess “who’s that behind the mask”.

Coram is proud to be chosen as one of the charity partners for the fifth series of the show and during the partnership, is highlighting how its work helps children to shine and get their voices heard, just like the contestants in the show.
