Independent author Duncan Pile has taken an innovative approach to publication of his Nature Mage Series, a traditional fantasy story with teenage main characters. He is releasing it in stages and invited fans to join an online community where they can post inspired or derived creative writing and artwork of their own. Originally designed for readers, the Nature Mage Community has attracted the interest of teachers, who see it as an exciting tool for teaching creative writing, artwork, social media awareness and ICT skills simultaneously!
