For National Adoption Week we have picked a selection of books that feature adopted children and their families.

These books, from picture books to YA novels, portray the experiences of adoption and provide characters and storylines that adopted children may identify with.

National Adoption Week runs from 17-23 October and this year is focused on the importance of identity and relationships for adopted people.
