Over 120 authors and illustrators such as Sophie Dahl, Michael Rosen, Axel Scheffler, Jacqueline Wilson (pictured) and Greg Jenner will be appearing alongside shows such as The Jolly Postman, Paddington Bear's First Concert, Aardman Animations Model Making Workshop.  The festival is set around Barnes' pond in west London and surrounding venues and is set to be a celebration of all things bookish for children aged 2 - 12.

With iconic illustrator, author and our first Children's Laureate, Sir Quentin Blake as festival illustrator this festival is celebrating in style! There will also be appearances from illustrious illustrators: Lauren Child; Chris Riddell and Rob Biddulph.

Comic and graphic novel readers are not forgotten either and can enjoy a very rare festival appearance from Luke Pearson of Netflix’s Hilda series; workshops from Marvel’s Ramzee and from BAFTA winning creative duo, The Brothers McLeod. 

This year's highlights include the London launch of Taskmaster Club, based on the smash hit comedy panel game show starring Alex Horne, with families competing against each other to see if they have what it takes to be Barnes Taskmaster Champion.
