Stéphane Frattini was born in Cannes and spent his childhood in west Africa. Before becoming a children's book author, he has had many different types of jobs, including game show writer, advertising set designer, bank employee, and pizza chef. The author or more than 150 books, Mr. Frattini now makes his home in Vichy, France.
