Sophie Williams is a Cornish illustrator, author and graduate from Winchester School of Art. She is the illustrator of Earth-Shattering Events (Cicada, 2019), Map of You (Cicada, 2021) and Stones and Bones (Cicada, 2023). She takes inspiration from illustrators such as Nick Sharratt and Gemma Correll, and has created this book in partnership with Rob Wilshaw, author of Stones and Bones.
