R L Fidler was born in Liverpool and currently lives with her family in the north of England. As a child, her father used to write his own poems to amuse her and her brother, and her love of words and creative use of the English language grew from there. Still an avid reader and fan of poetry, she speaks three languages and writes in her spare time.
